Wilderness Series · Inflatable Cabin Tents

A cabin tent that stands on air rather than poles. Inflate the sealed TPU beams and a 4 × 3 m Oxford shelter with 210 cm of headroom takes shape, no sleeves to thread, no sections to snap. Windows along the walls keep the interior bright and moving with air.

Field Notes

A pole tent fails at the pole, and a splintered section usually ends the trip. An air-beam frame moves that load into sealed inflatable columns that flex under a gust and return to shape. It also means the whole structure rises from one valve rather than one sleeve at a time.

01Why You’ll Like It

This is gear for people who arrive by vehicle and then stay put, families, groups, long weekends on a single site. Floor space and standing height matter more here than packed weight. Pair it with the rest of our family camping range and the site is furnished well before dark.

The frame rises from a single valve
Nothing to thread, snap or lose after dark
Standing height across most of the floor
Room for cots, chairs and packs at once

02Key Features

An Air-Beam Frame Instead Of Poles

Sealed TPU air beams carry the structure. Inflate them and the cabin shape holds; release the pressure and the frame packs down with the fabric rather than beside it.

Oxford Shell, Single Layer

The canopy is woven Oxford fabric in a single-layer construction, a build chosen for abrasion resistance and durability rather than minimum weight.

Cabin Walls, Not A Dome

Near-vertical walls hold usable height out towards the edges of the floor, instead of leaving only the centre line tall enough to stand in.

Windows Along The Walls

Window panels bring daylight inside and let warm air move through, so ventilation does not depend on leaving the door open.

Two Footprints, Two Colourways

Choose the compact 3 × 2.1 m layout or the larger 4 × 3 m floor, in khaki or green, depending on group size and how the site sits.

05Setup & Care

Clear stones and sharp debris before laying the floor
Inflate the beams evenly rather than filling one at a time
Stake every corner, then tension the guy lines
Release the pressure slowly when packing down
Brush off grit and sand before folding
Dry the fabric completely, then store out of direct sun

06Safety Notes

Keep Combustion Outside

Never run a fuel-burning stove, lantern, grill or portable heater inside the tent. Burning fuel in an enclosed shelter produces carbon monoxide, which is colourless, odourless and gives no warning before it becomes dangerous.

Anchor Before The Weather Turns

Stake all corners and run the guy lines whenever the tent is left standing, calm afternoon or not. An air-beam frame is designed to flex in wind, which makes proper anchoring more important rather than less.

Watch The Pressure In Heat

Air inside sealed beams expands as the sun warms it. On a hot afternoon, bleed a little pressure out rather than leaving the beams fully tensioned, and re-inflate as the temperature drops.

The frame goes up with air, and the evening starts sooner.
